CLINTON O. SMART



Funeral services for Clinton O. Smart, 81, of Archibald, LA will be held 2:00 
PM, Monday, May 6, 2013 at Mangham Baptist Church, Mangham, LA with Rev. Rick 
Aultman and Rev. Prentis Gandy officiating. Burial will follow in the Lynn 
Cemetery, Archibald, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, 
Rayville.



Mr. Clinton was born April 9, 1932 in Wisner, LA and passed away Saturday, May 
4, 2013 in Mangham after a lengthy illness. 



Mr. Smart was a member and Deacon of the Mangham Baptist Church. He was the 
owner of Ratcliff 's Food Store and after he semi retired he worked at Fred's 
in Delhi. Mr. Clinton enjoyed fishing with his buddy, Paul Gandy and camping 
with the Happy Wheels Camping Club.



Mr. Clinton is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Helen Smart; great 
grandson, Cameron Cardin; sister, Loretta Lowery; and brother, Julian Smart. 



Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Lynn Smart of Archibald; children, 
Wayne Smart and wife, Kathie of Rayville, Charlie Smart and wife, Dyanna of 
Archibald, Judy Gilley and husband, Gary of Archibald, Glenn Smart and wife, 
Mandy of Start, and Brent Smart and wife, Rachel of Mangham; 11-grandchildren 
and 16-great grandchildren; sister, Helen Holmes of Monroe; brother, Billy Ray 
Smart of Ferriday; and a host of nieces and nephews.



Pallbearers are Joey Williams, Brandon Fleming, Daniel Smart, Coby Gill, Alex 
Smart, Andy Smart, Darin Pecanty, Rodney Cardin, and Jesse O'Neal.



Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Mangham Baptist Church.



In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Mangham Baptist Church Building 
Fund.
