COURTNEY NICOLE SMEAD

Funeral Services for Courtney Nicole Smead, 17, of West Monroe, LA, will be 
held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 6, 2012 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral 
Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Carey Crawford officiating. Interment will 
follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.

Courtney was born on April 26, 1994 in Monroe, LA and passed away on January 
2, 2012 at her residence in West Monroe, LA. She was a student at West Monroe 
High School, where she was very active in the Drama Club, and JCL (Latin 
Club). Courtney enjoyed spending time with her family and talking to friends 
on facebook.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Kelly.

Survivors include her mother, Penny Ann Rice Smead and her companion, Billy 
Ray Shannon; father, Jerry Dale Smead Jr.; sister, Jessica Smead Reppond; 
brother, Allen Wyles; maternal grandparents, Donald Rice Sr. and wife, Terry; 
paternal grandparents, Jerry Dale Smead Sr. and wife, Shirley; along with 
numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be David Guynn, Chad Flemister, Nick Waltman, Richard Kelly 
Sr., Richard Kelly Jr., and Joseph Kelly.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 5, 2012 
at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
