MARTHA MAE SMELTZER

Funeral services for Martha Mae Smeltzer, 95, of Hope, AR, formerly of Monroe, 
LA, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 29, 2016, at Jackson Street Church 
of Christ with Bro. Don Delukie officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview 
Church of Christ Cemetery, Marion, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, Monroe, LA

Mrs. Smeltzer died Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Laurel Place Nursing Home, in 
Hope, AR. She was a retired professional seamstress, and worked as a file clerk 
for the FBI during the war.

Mrs. Smeltzer was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Frank Smeltzer; and 
her parents, Floyd King and Dona Lowery Reeves.

Survivors include her sons, Frank Smeltzer, and wife Alma, Jimmie Smeltzer, and 
wife Dianne; daughters, Gail Wooley, Brenda Byrd; grandchildren, Amy Green, 
Lori Searles, Jay Smeltzer, Kelli Hopper, Kristi May, Marsha Holloman, Terri 
Accado, Ricky Wallace, April Easley, and Casey Byrd; 18 great grandchildren; 3 
great great grandchildren; sisters, Juanita Smith, and Bonnie Ashley; and 
numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bill Harvey, Jay Smeltzer, Hunter Smeltzer, Greg Melancon, 
Dennie May, and John Hopper.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Mulhearn 
Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.
