Chris died Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at his residence. Chris was the most loving and caring person anyone could meet. He had friends from all over; Louisiana, Illinois, Texas, and anywhere in between. Chris will forever be remembered for his willingness to help others for things as little as a hug to driving over in the middle of the night to lend a shoulder. He was always smiling and giving everyone a hard time: especially those he loved. He had many hobbies but especially liked to battle in Yugioh with his friends, and football. Chris filled many holes in many lives. He always brought a little "sunshine" into every life he touched. Although his life was short- lived it was full of happiness and lots and lots of love. Chris went by many names to the ones who loved him including Sunshine, Mr. Worldwide and The Great Chris Lee. Chris was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Calvin and Sis Myers, and Ouida and Don Coleman. Surviving family members are his wife, Eryn McGee Smith; step daughter, Tatum McGee; mother, Roxanne Smith; step-father, Gary Dunham; sister, Miranda Smith; brother, Micheal Shelton; grandmother, Cyndi Myers Parker; step grandfather, Stan Parker; step-aunt, Joanna Parker; and niece, Lillian Sawyer; mother in law, Dana Skains; fathers-in-law, George Skains and Shane McGee; brothers-in- law, Joey McGee and Adam Skains. His closest friends left behind are Marcus "Kryst" Guthrie, Clifton Feazel, Christopher "Envy" Mullins, Stephen Honeycutt, Courtney McNeal, Heather Knode, and Anna Buras. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
