SAM SMITH

Memorial services for Sam Smith, 62, of Monroe, will be held at 3:00 PM 
Monday, April 14, 2014, in the chapel at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington 
Road, Monroe, with Rev. Scott Jennings officiating.

Mr. Smith died Friday, April 11, 2014.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Dorene Barmore, 
John T. Smith, Tony Smith, Sarah Jane Smith, Bill Smith and Dorothy Maxine 
Jones; and his parents, Elijah Daniel and Grasies Mae Smith.

Survivors include his children, Ricky Smith, Deborah Jones, Billy Smith, Anita 
Hamilton, Trinity Smith, and Teyana Smith; eleven grandchildren; two great 
grandchildren; brothers and sisters, James Albert Smith, Mary Grace Brasisco, 
Henry Clay Smith, Melinda R. Voss, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Jesus said: "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, 
though he were dead, yet shall he live." John 11:25.
