PHILHIOL MANNING SMITH

Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mr. Philhiol Manning Smith, 80, of Monroe, will be held at 
2:00 PM Thursday, February 5, 2009, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Mark Foster officiating. Interment will 
follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Smith passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2009. He was the owner of Chris 
Grocery and Package Liquor, worked for 25 years at International Paper in 
Bastrop, and an entrepreneur in Monroe for 33 years.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kris-Tina Rebecca Smith; 
and 9 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Wimol Jaisutthi Smith; children, Jeanie Smith, 
Stanley Smith, Larry Smith and wife Pam, Becky Gaines and husband Jimmy, and 
Mitch Smith and wife Crystal; ten grandchildren, and one sister, Mable Storm.
