WANDA F. SMITH

Funeral services for Wanda F. Smith, 76 of Farmerville, LA will be held Friday, 
December 5, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in 
Farmerville. Bro. Johnny Hankins will be officiating. Interment will be in 
Farmerville City Cemetery next to her parents, Olen and Lula Forbess who 
preceded her in death. Wanda graduated valedictorian in 1956 from Farmerville 
High School, then LA. Tech University. She taught high school for over thirty 
years in the Union Parish School System. She loved Arts and Crafts, plants and 
flowers, music, outdoors, and especially being a friend to anyone who needed 
one.

She is survived by her husband A.J. Smith; two sons, Stacy Barron and wife 
Becky of Camden, AR; Jason Barron of Spearsville, LA; step-daughters, Andrea 
Hearn and husband Ken of Farmerville, LA; Patricia Ritchie and husband Stephen 
of Praireville, LA.sister, Pam Kuhlman and husband Dave of Dallas, TX; 
brothers, Tony Forbess and wife Shelley of El Dorado, AR; Monty Forbess and 
wife Cindy of Calhoun, LA; ten grandchildren and six great- grandchildren and a 
host of nieces, nephews, "who all thought Aunt Sister was the coolest".

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 
P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville.
