MARTHA DEE SMITH

Funeral Services for Martha Dee "Lil Johnnie" Smith, 80, of West Monroe, LA 
will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 18, 2014 in the chapel of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Danny McIlveene officiating. Interment will 
follow in the Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton, LA.

Ms. Smith was born August 19, 1934 and passed away December 15, 2014. She was 
preceded in death by her parents, John A. and Lillian Whitehead Smith; three 
brothers, James "Ed" Smith, Master Sgt. Walter Smith and Howell Smith; and her 
twin sister, Mary Purdion.

Survivors include her three sisters, Billie Bush Underwood and husband James, 
W. Lee Edwards, and Bobbie Ann Haile and husband Willie; three brothers, John 
"JW" Smith and wife Fay, Carl Smith, Jr. and wife Judy, and Joseph Wayne Smith; 
and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Pitaro, Randall Chapman, Jodie Edwards, Craig 
Edwards, Austin Cox and Andrew Cox.

Honorary Pallbearers will be C.J. Jones, Fredrick Jones and Keigan Head.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Thursday.
