TRAVIS WAYNE SMITH

The Celebration of Life of Travis Wayne Smith, 66, of West Monroe, LA, will be 
6:00 PM Friday, April 17, 2015, in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home in West 
Monroe, with Pastor Michael Stravato officiating. Visitation will follow until 
9:00 PM.

Travis was born on January 24, 1949, and went to be with his Lord on April 9, 
2015, in West Monroe, LA. Travis owned and operated Travis Smith Refrigeration. 
He is preceded in death by his parents, Balem Blanchard Smith and Evelyn 
Edwards Smith, both of Jena, LA.

He leaves behind his wife, Brenda Tharpe Smith of West Monroe, LA; sisters, 
Nell Smith McCurry and husband Lonnie McCurry, Sr., Betty Smith and husband 
Terry Smith; brother, Michael David Smith and wife Darolyn Waldrop Smith of 
Burnsville, NC; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special 
friends including his extended family.

The family would like to express their thanks to all of Travis's friends and 
customers for all of the kind words and support during this time. Travis was 
loved by all who knew him.

Due to the fact that this is a cremation, flowers are optional.
