MELVIN KEITH SMITH

Funeral services for Mr. Melvin Keith Smith of Sterlington will be at 2:00 PM 
on Saturday September 5, 2015 at the new Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Monroe, 
LA with Bro. Roger Stoffer officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill 
Taylor Cemetery in Farmerville. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin 
Funeral Home of Monroe.

Mr. Smith was born Tuesday, August 5, 1947 and departed this earth on Tuesday 
September 1, 2015 surrounded by loved ones.

Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his father Jerry W. Smith.

He is survived by his mother Eloise Smith of Sterlington, sons Darran Smith of 
Sterlington, Bradley Smith (Teresa) of Sterlington and David Smith of Dallas, 
TX, daughters Pennelope Hixson of Houston, TX and Angela Nettles (Jimmy) of 
Sterlington, and brothers Ricky Smith (Teresa) of West Monroe and Terry Smith 
of Sterlington, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
