GEORGIA IDELLA WEST SMITH

Funeral services for Georgia Idella West Smith, age 84, of Oak Grove, LA will 
be 10AM, Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Goodwill Church of God in Goodwill 
Community with Rev. Paul Ninemire and Rev. Jimbo Herring officiating. 
Interment will be in the Red Wing Cemetery. Services are under the direction 
of Cox Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4PM - 8PM at the Goodwill Church of God.

She passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at West Carroll Care Center in Oak 
Grove.

Georgia was a loving mother, grandmother and a friend to all. She will be 
greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lucian Talmadge Smith; parents, 
Joseph William West and Annie Lorene James Smith; sister, Juanita Summrall; 
grandson, James Brandon Jones.

Georgia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Annie and J. D. Greco of 
Monroe, LA; son and daughter-in-law, Talmadge and Pam Smith of Dardanelle, AR; 
son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Rhonda Smith of Oak Grove, LA; son and 
daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Connie Smith of Oak Grove, LA; daughter and son-in-
law, Jana Smith-Raines and Rob Raines of Stockton, AL; 13 grandchildren and 25 
great-grandchildren; sister, Vivian Kimball of Bastrop, LA; sister, Julia 
Johnson of Sacremento, CA; sister, Lou Leisure of Mer Rouge, LA; brother, 
Chipper West of Bastrop, LA; brother, David West of Bastrop, LA; sister, Tracy 
Ray of Bastrop; sister-in-law and her husband, Peggy and Harrell Smith of Cut 
Off, LA; sister-in-law, Charlotte Smith Brusen of Cut Off, LA; sister-in-law, 
Wilhelmina Smith of Oak Grove, LA; brother-in-law and his wife, Gary and 
Charlotte Smith of Starkville, MS.

Pallbearers are members of the Goodwill Church of God Ambassador Sunday School 
Class: Donald Sasser, Denzil Sumrall, Delton Stover, Mike Lamb, O'Neal 
Hemphill, Larry McCullogh, and Lionell Berthelot.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice .
