SYBIL BARKER BROWN SMITH

Graveside service for Sybil Barker Brown Smith will be held at 2:00 PM, 
Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Harper Springs Cemetery, Huttig, Arkansas. Rev. 
Larry Hibbard will officiate under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe.

Sybil was born on October 1, 1921 and passed away January 30, 2017 in West 
Monroe, LA after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by parents 
Lawrence and Versa Barker; husband, Luke Brown (father of children) and Ralph 
Smith; brothers, Milton Barker and Lawrence Barker, Jr.; daughter, Barbara 
Brown; sons; Steve and Randy Brown; and 2 grandchildren.

Sybil is survived by children; Ann McDonough, W.L. "Dub" Brown (Katie); 7 
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Barbara Barker;

The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff at West Monroe Guest 
House and Aime Hospice Care for the care given to our loved one during her 
lengthy illness.
