JOYCE FAYE WILLIAMS SMITH

Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Faye Williams Smith, a retired LPN, of West 
Monroe, will be 3:00pm Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in the chapel of Griffin 
Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Shane Carter officiating. Interment will 
follow at Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA under the direction of Griffin 
Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until time of service Wednesday 
at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith was born December 18, 1942 in Winnfield, LA and passed from this 
life on May 28, 2017 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 74. She enjoyed 
cooking, recipes, watching HGTV and spending time with her family and 
friends. She also loved jewelry and all animals.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Smith; her parents, A.J. and 
Clotille Williams; and two brothers, Gary and Gene Williams.

Survivors include her children, Curtis Smith and wife Mary of Monroe, Scott 
Smith and wife Jeannie of West Monroe and Bonnie Platt and husband, Daryl of 
West Monroe; seven grandchildren, Meagen, Taylor, Ashley, Zac, Courtney, 
Skylar and Kaitlyn; three great-grandchildren, Jaycee, Oaklee and Rhonin; 
two cherished friends, Dianne Williams of West Monroe and Hiroko Kirkland of 
Florida; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Scott Smith, Curtis Smith, Zac Smith, John Paylor, 
Phillip Byrd and Chad Roberson.
