CATHERINE SMITH

Port Orange, FL.

Catherine Smith, age 78, of Ponce Inlet, passed away peacefully 5/18/2010 with 
her loving family by her side. A Memorial Service in her honor will be held on 
Saturday, June 12th @ 1:30pm @ Grace Episcopal Church.

Visitation with family will be prior to service beginning at 12:00 @ Grace 
Episcopal Church.

Catherine was born Sept 6, 1931 in Covington, LA and was daughter of the late 
Charles & Honora Morse. Catherine and Hugh moved to the Daytona Beach, Fl. 
area in 2004 from Monroe, LA and made their home in Ponce Inlet. She was a 
standing member of Ponce Inlet Garden Club, and attended The Grace Episcopal 
Church in Port Orange, Fl.

Catherine was the Loving wife of Hugh Smith for 55 years who precedes her in 
death and also the Dear mother to her three sons, Mike, and Norman (Patty) of 
Monroe LA., Kevin (Kellie) of Dripping Springs, TX; and her three daughters, 
Libby Smith and Jennie Razer, both of Ponce Inlet, and Holly Smith of Monroe 
La. She also was a proud Grandmother of 8 Grandchildren; and 8 great-
Grandchildren and dearly loved her best friend, Angel.

The family suggests memorial donations may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation 
of America, 4742 North 24th Street, Suite 400, Phoenix, AZ 85016 or Prevent 
Cancer Foundation, 1600 Duke Street, Suite 500, Alexandria, VA 22314.
