LUTHER L. SMITHWICK

Kilpatrick Funeral Home

Monroe, LA.

Funeral services for Mr. Luther L. Smitchwick, 76, will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, 
December 28, 2004 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe, LA. Officiating will be 
Don DeLukie. Interment will follow at Ouachita City Cemetery under the 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home Mon roe, LA.

Mr. Smithwick, of Union Par ish, LA., died December 25, 2004 in West Monroe, 
LA.

Mr. Smithwick was born Octo ber 23, 1928 in Darden, LA. He was a retired 
machinist with ArkLa Gas. He served his coun try as a member of the U. S. 
Navy. Luther loved dirt track racing and participated throughout the ArkLaMiss.

Mr. Smithwick was preceded in death by his grandchildren Glen "Bo" Smithwick 
and Kristi Smithwick and daughterinlaw Rainey Smithwick.

Luther is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Lee Ford Smithwick and 
his son Glenn Smithwick; sisterinlaw: Bobby Nolan; brotherinlaw: Kenny Nolan; 
nephew: Robert Nolan.

Pallbearers will be Freddy Cook, Harold Martin, Danny Martin, Johnny Roberson, 
Ronnie Jones and Gary Dunham.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time of service at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home in Monroe.
