Tina was born on January 4, 1957 to Sam and Lois Ruffino in Monroe, Louisiana. She grew up and attended Waskom High School in Monroe, and eventually became Director of Delta Career College in Monroe and Lafayette, Louisiana. Tina married Michael Soignier in 1972 and together they had two children. After following Mike's work to Nevada, Indiana, and Kentucky, as well as several cities in south Louisiana, they divorced in 2002. Tina eventually relocated to Shreveport to live near her daughter. Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Lois ; her son Shane, and brother Michael Ruffino. Tina is survived by her daughter, Lois Marie Soignier of Shreveport and her fiancée Toby Teeters; her granddaughter, Jolie Marie Soignier and future granddaughter due in June; her companion Brian "Bubba" McIntyre; niece Ashley Jason; and a host of nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Saint Mary of the Pines, 1050 W. Bert Kouns, Shreveport, La. Father John Paul presiding. A graveside service will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery at 2300 Texas Avenue, Shreveport, La The family will welcome visitors from 5p.m.-6p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 with a Vigil immediately following at Aulds Funeral Home at 7849 E. Kings Highway, Shreveport, La Tina's greatest love was for home and family. Her good nature, love and devotion leaves an everlasting void in our heart and lives. As she rests in eternal peace, her spirit and memory forever remains cherished with us. Tina's family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Willis- Knighton-Pierremont for the care they provided.
