Graveside services for Mr. James "Rusty" Sowell, Sr., 41, of Marion, LA will be 
held at 2:30 PM Monday, January 12, 2009 at Concord Cemetery at Marion, LA with 
Dewayne Monk officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Rusty was born on May 15, 1967 and passed away January 9, 2009. He was a member 
of Jackson Street Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by grandparents, 
Thelma (Nanny) and Jim Oliver; great grandmother, Granny Burt; his best friend, 
Kenneth M. Tillman, Jr.

Rusty has many friends and co-workers that have been so close to him for many 
years. He considered all of them his family.

He is survived by his wife, Wendy; son and daughter-in-law, Rusty Jr. and 
Rebecca of West Monroe, LA; son, Christopher (Pookie); daughter, Brandi Nicole 
of Marion, LA; mother and father, Sebron and Joyce Sowell of Marion, LA; uncle, 
Charlie Sowell of Winnsboro, LA ; great uncle, Joe Burks of Dallas, TX; 
grandchildren, Tristin and Jamie Rae Sowell; mother-in-law and father-in-law, 
Betty and Gary Hamilton; brother-in-law, Britt Clarke Jr.; numerous nieces and 
nephews.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM Monday, January 12, 2009 at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
