INEZ SPANGLER

Funeral Services for Inez Spangler, 89, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 
10:00AM Monday, December 8, 2014 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West 
Monroe with Dr. Woods Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Clark 
Springs Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
West Monroe.

Inez was born on August 14, 1925 in Jackson Parish, LA and passed away on 
December 5, 2014 in West Monroe, LA. She taught school for many years at 
Ouachita Junior High and for the Monroe City Schools. She enjoyed square 
dancing, quilting, playing dominoes, and volunteering at Glenwood Hospital as a 
candy striper. Inez is preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Lola Mize; 
husbands, Marvin Spangler and Paul Scheppf; sister, Allene Hendricks; and 
great-grandsons, Wesley Phillips and Denny Lowrey.

Survivors include son, Vance Spangler and wife Joyce; three granddaughters, 
Terrie Payne, Tracy Lowrey and husband Dennis, and Toni Spangler Smith; step-
grandchildren, Johnnie Harris and husband Bobby, Ronnie Gregory, Brandon 
Harris, Danielle Irons, and Zack Marshall; great-grandchildren, Blaine, Brad, 
and Tara Payne, Justin Phillips, Brandon and Chad Lowrey, Trey Drake; and 
numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Mark Hendricks, Bobby Harris, David Prophit, Roy Russ, Ron 
Gilbert, and Mike Hester.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
