ROBERT MARION SPIKES 

Kilpatrick Funeral Homes West Monroe, LA 

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Marion Spikes, age 68, will be at 2:00 P.M., 
Wednesday, March 3, 2010, in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of West 
Monroe. Officiating will be Bro. Charles L. Davis. Interment will follow at 
Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Homes of West Monroe. Mr. Spikes was born on November 11, 1941 and 
passed away on February 28, 2010 after a brief illness. Survivors include his 
beloved daughter, Mitzi Spikes Acree and husband, Jamie and the light of our 
Daddy's and Papaw's eye, granddaughter, Amber McKenzy Acree and grandson, 
Robert Cole Acree; mother, Nellie Spikes; sister, Marilyn Tolbird and husband, 
Butch all of West Monroe and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was 
there always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He also served his 
country during Vietnam in the Army. He loved working on his racing cars and 
was the owner operator of Robert's Repair Shop. He had a passion for playing 
pool. His world revolved around his family especially his grand children. He 
will be remembered as a man who put everyone else first before himself. Our 
Daddy and Papaw will truly be missed by all who knew him. Pallbearers will be 
DeWayne Saterfiel, Charlie Saterfiel, Logan Saterfiel, Chris Tolbird, Ronnie 
Absher and Scott Bielkiewiez. Honorary pallbearers will be Butch Tolbird, 
Herbert Saterfiel, Anthony Deal, Shane Saterfiel, Derrick Meador, Austin 
Beckley, Bobby Taylor and Billy Taylor. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 2, 
2010, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. at Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of West Monroe.
