Visitation will be at Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA., on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Graveside services will be at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery Wednesday, September 17, 2008 beginning at 2:00 P.M. The Rev. Kurt Auger will be officiating. Mr. Stafford was born July 24, 1937 in Douglas, KS. He is preceeded in death by his parents Glen W. and Louida Condor Stafford and his wife Theresa Reel Stafford of 36 years. Mr. Stafford was a specialist with the XVI U.S. Army Corps. He also worked for Rock Island Railroad, Boeing Aircraft and Davison Transport. He retired from Davison Transport after 29 years of service. Mr. Stafford enjoyed NASCAR racing, fishing, bird hunting, local folk music, and his 950 John Deere tractor. Survivors include his son Glen W. Stafford and daughter Sheila J. Stafford, his brother and sister-in-law Bill and Velma Stafford of Salliasaw, OK; Grandchildren Chase, Hunter and Mallorie Stafford. Mr. Stafford's private and daily life was reflected through his faith and earnest care for all. His life was not only enriched by those he came in contact with and befriended but also he greatly enriched others as well.
