LUCILLE SPIVEY STAMPER

Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Spivey Stamper, 70 of West Monroe, LA will be

held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the St. Joseph Missionary 
Baptist

Church of West Monroe with Rev. Cleveland Hunt officiating. Interment will 
follow in the Hasley Cemetery of West Monroe.

Mrs. Stamper passed away Sunday at her home in West Monroe.

Her husband, Bennerson Stamper, preceded her in death. Survivors include her 
father, John D Spivey of West Monroe. She leaves to cherish her fondest 
memories her children, Reginald Stamper, West Moroe and KeJuana Stamper Fridie 
(Jerry) of Tyler, Texas. One grandson, Stanton Fridie.

Lucille was a graduate of Boley High School of West Monroe. She graduated from 
Grambling State University where she earned both a Bachelor of science Degree 
and a Master's Degree plus 30 hours. Later she attended the United Theological 
Seminary and graduated with both a Bachelor of Christian Education and a 
Master's Degree.

She taught in the Ouachita Parish School System for 27 years.

Visitation will be Friday, December 19, 2008 at the New Daughters of Zion 
Baptist Church from 5:00 PM. until 7:00 PM.
