Paul Ninemire and Rev. Roy Pepmiller officiating. Interment will be in the New Forest Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe. Mrs. Standifer was born in Oak Grove, LA on October 8, 1921 and died in Monroe, LA on September 25, 2009. She was a member of First Church of God in Oak Grove and had served as music director and Sunday School teacher for many years. She worked from 1958-1984 with West Carroll School Systems as a teacher and supervisor. After moving to Monroe in 1995, she was a member of North Monroe Medical Center Auxillary and attended Cypress Street Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents Mansfield and Era Peacock Crowe and one brother, Malcolm Crowe. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in law, Joyce and John Divers, Virginia and Tommy Smith, and Louise and Curtis Futch; one son and daughter-in- law, Joe and Evaleen Standifer; one brother and sister-in law, Ralph and Diana Crowe; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday, September 28 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe and Tuesday, September 29 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at First Church of God in Oak Grove, LA.
