MARTHA MAE HALL STAPLETON

Funeral services for Martha Mae Hall Stapleton, 77, of West Monroe, will be at 
10:00 AM, Monday, January 19, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, 
with Rev. Ray Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial 
Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mrs. Stapleton was born May 27, 1937 in Branson, Missouri and passed away 
peacefully at home, January 16, 2015 in West Monroe. She was a member of 
Liberty Grove Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Goldie Hall; son, Ronnie 
Mattingly; grandson, Robert Douglas Stapleton; son-in-law, Tony LaPietra; four 
sisters; and three brothers.

She is survived by her husband, George Stapleton, Sr.; three sons, Randy 
Stapleton, Sr. and wife Roberta, Joe Stapleton and wife Renee, and Zac 
Stapleton; five daughters, Ann Stapleton, Lore Stapleton. Stephanie LaPietra, 
Becky Leggett and husband Paul, and Melissa Hamilton and husband Garey; 20 
grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; three sisters, Julia Daniel, Betty 
Loveless, and Sarah Borthick; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Darrin Lenard, Ricky Bidleman, Carl "Bo" Coates, Norman 
Almond, Josh Allen, and Joey Hutson. Grandsons will serve as honorary 
pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 5:00 til 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
