Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Gates Steffenson, 59, of West Monroe, LA will 
be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 9, 2009 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Wanda Consentino officiating. Interment will 
follow at Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Steffenson was born October 22, 1949 in Monroe, LA and passed away May 7, 
2009 in West Monroe, LA. She was an Associate Professor of Nursing at ULM 
College of Nursing and was a member of Sigma Theta Tau and she received her 
Master of Nursing from TWU in Houston, TX. Mrs. Steffenson was a member of Mt. 
Zion United Methodist Church, Calhoun, La.

Mrs. Steffenson is survived by her husband, Marty Steffenson; son, Verlyn 
Steffenson; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Lynn Stokes; brother-in-law, 
Charles Price, Jr.; nieces, Elizabeth Butler and husband Jeremy, Laura Price; 
cousins, Melba and Jimmy Dulaney.

Pallbearers will be Lee Roy Adair, Jeremy Butler, Mike DeMoss, Dick Odom, 
Charles Price, Jr., and Mike Racca.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 8, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
