JAMES EDWARD STEVENS

Funeral services for James Edward Stevens, 60, of Eros, LA will be held at 
2:00pm, Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe with 
Reverend Benny Braddock officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Gardens 
Cemetery, Calhoun, LA under the directions of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West 
Monroe.

During his lifetime, James served in the US Air Force; and was a retired 18-
wheel truck driver, he enjoyed working on his land and yard; and most of all, 
he cherished time spent with his family.

James is preceded in death by his father Edward Stevens.

James is survived by his mother, Ola Stevens; wife, Kathy Stevens; daughters, 
Jessica Twiner and Kristina Stevens; stepson, Steven Millien and wife Kelly; 4 
grandchildren with one granddaughter to be born in July; sisters, Rhonda Fish 
and husband, Richard and Sondra Wilson and friend, Ramon; a niece; a nephew; 
numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at the VA Hospital in 
Shreveport and St. Joseph Hospice for their dedication and compassionate care 
of their loved one.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
