MR. RALPH STEVENS
Kilpatrick Funeral Home

West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mr. Ralph Stevens 83, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 
2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Living Way Apostolic Church in West 
Monroe, Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery Monroe. Rev. Carl Shurte, 
Rev. Joel Hemphill and Rev Nathan Thornton will be officiating, under the 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mr. Stevens was born December 23, 1925 in Huttig, AR and died March 22, 2009 
in West Monroe. Mr. Stevens served his country proudly with the U.S. Navy 
during World War II, and was a member of Living Way Apostolic Church for over 
50 years. He retired from LSU Medical Center as a painter.

Mr. Stevens was preceded in death by his grand-daughter, Patsy Lynn Stevens; 
brothers, Edward Stevens and Ray Stevens; sister, Loraine Nelson.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Reba Stevens; four sons, Ezra Stevens 
and wife Shorty, Robert Stevens and wife Debbie, Charles Stevens and Paul 
Stevens; two brothers, Jake Stevens and Harold Stevens; sister, Lynn Jones; 7 
grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be James Mayo, Marlin Jones, Willie Kerrigan, James Johnson, 
Eddie Tidwell, Kenny Chilton and Alsey Franks.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Living Way 
Apostolic Church.
