Jay developed a passion for airplanes at a young age beginning with remote-controlled planes. He was an experienced pilot with single engine planes and ultralights and logged many hours flying his friends and family in his Cessna 140. He enjoyed taking family trips to the beach, going waterskiing and riding his motorcycle. Jay loved and lived his life to the fullest, always doing for and putting others before himself. Jay's love for life was evident in the joy he brought to others, through his positive outlook and humor, his smile, and his absolute and genuine concern for others. Jay's thoughtfulness, compassion, tender spirit and kind heart inspired everyone who knew him. Jay was a loving husband, father, step father, brother, uncle and friend to so many. We know that Jay is still flying, just with a different set of wings.
