CAROL MAXINE STEVERSON

Funeral services for Carol Maxine Steverson, 85, of Winnsboro, LA formerly of 
Bastrop, LA will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 28, 2015 at Brown-Holley 
Funeral Chapel, Rayville with Rev. Rick Baker officiating. Interment will 
follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Winnsboro, LA.

Mrs. Maxine was born August 9, 1930 in Wynn, AR to James and Lillie Milton and 
passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at StoneyBrook Memory Care Home in 
West Monroe, LA after a lengthy illness.

She moved to the Goodwill, LA community where she met and married her husband, 
Hosey Steverson. They were married for 65 years.

Mrs. Maxine is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hosey Steverson; 
parents, James and Lillie Milton; brothers, Charles, Tommy, and Gary Milton; 
and son-in-law, Alan Hudspeth.

Survivors include her son, James "Jim" Steverson and wife, Carla of Highland 
Village, TX; daughter, Melinda C. Hudspeth of Girard, LA; grandsons, Jason W. 
Steverson of Monroe and Daniel B. Steverson of Arlington, TX; great grandson, 
Griffin W. Steverson of Monroe, LA; sister, Jimmie Bradford of Dallas, TX and 
brother, James "Donald" Milton of North Port, FL; and numerous nieces and 
nephews.

Pallbearers will be members of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.

The family would like to thank the Staff at StoneyBrook Memory Care and 
Louisiana Hospice for taking care of our loved one.

Visitation is 12:00 PM - until the service at1:00 PM, Monday at Brown-Holley 
Funeral Chapel, Rayville.
