GROVER STEWART

Mr. Grover Stewart, age 89 of West Monroe, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, 
July 20, 2016.

Born Monday, July 11, 1927 in Mt. Carmel, Louisiana, he was preceded in death 
by his wife of 68 years, Bettye Stewart; father, Grover Cleveland Stewart; 
mother, Vernie Robinson Stewart; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Mr. Stewart was a retired educator and retired supervisor in the oil industry. 
He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Joe Stewart and wife Amanda, 
Eros, LA, Dale Stewart and wife Katherine, Asheville, NC, and Glenn Stewart and 
wife Leah, Monroe, LA; grandson, Webb Stewart, Monroe, LA; granddaughters, 
Shellye Crowder and husband Ben, Wiley, TX, and Kelyn Freudiger and husband 
Kevin, Wiley, TX; great grandchildren, Ava Jane Crowder, Kannon and Kamble 
Freudiger; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Southern Funeral 
Home in Winnfield, LA from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 
Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Stuart Sherman officiating. Interment will 
follow in Garden of Memories, in Winnfield.
