Funeral services for Lorinda Stokes, 90, of Rayville, LA will be held 2:00 PM, 
Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Shady Grove Church of God, Holly Ridge, LA with Rev. 
Raymond Agent and Rev. Harold Spillers officiating. Burial will follow in 
McKnight Cemetery, Holly Ridge, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral 
Home, Rayville, LA.

Lorinda Stokes was born August 20, 1918 to John Henry and Alice Thompson and 
passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009.

Mrs. Stokes was a member of the Shady Grove Church of God. She is preceded in 
death by her husband, Jack Stokes.

Survivors include son, Gaynell Stokes and wife, Catherine of Chatham, LA; 
three grandchildren, Keith Stokes and wife, Beth of Monroe, Debra Moore and 
husband, Terry of Monroe, and Steve Stokes and wife, Michelle of Chatham; four 
great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be from noon until the service, Tuesday, at the church.
