STOVER Funeral services for Billie L. Stover, 79, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Bro. Nathan Keene and Bro. Wayne Stover will be officiating . Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mr. Stover was born July 27, 1935 in Santo, TX and passed away January 12, 2015 in West Monroe, LA. He retired from Morgan Lindsey, G. C. Murphy Company and Sam's Club. Bill was a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and brother. Billie and his wife of 58 years Maxine lived in Swartz for 41 years and then moved to Cheniere Lake in West Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Viola Stover of Monroe. Mr. Stover is survived by his wife, Maxine Fleming Stover; 2 children; Billie L. Stover and wife Sheila and Mamie Stover Dowd; grandchildren; Amanda Myers and husband Brian and Justin Stover and wife Monica; great- grandchildren; Cody, Austin, Ashton and Erin; 4 brothers, Murwyn Stover, Jackie Stover and wife Patsy, Wayne Stover and Ronnie Stover and wife Sylvia; sister, Sonja Bracey and husband Don; special sister-in-law, Louise Fleming Benton and special brother-in-law, John Fleming of Goodwill, LA; numerous nieces and nephews; special grand dogs, Bella and Buffy. Pallbearers will be Brian Myers, Vernon Patterson, John Greer, Leaman Percy, Hans Korrodi and Bill Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommie Moore, James Tarkington and Leon Fields. A special thanks to Landmark Nursing Home Staff and CNA's that took special care of him over the last two years. Thanks also to Brenda Buford, James Tarkington, Vernon Parkerson for all their visits and caring. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Northeast Louisiana Cancer Foundation, 411 Calypso Street, Monroe, LA 71201. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 12:00 Noon until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
