MARY GENEVA RUSHING STREETER


Services for Mary Geneva Rushing Streeter will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday,
September 9, 2017 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 1200 Lamy Lane, Monroe, LA.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, September 8, 2017 at
Kilpatrick Funeral Home.

Reverend William Smith, pastor at Lakeshore Baptist Church will officiate the
service with interment at Mulhearn Memorial Park, 623 US Hwy 80, Monroe, LA
following the service under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.

Mrs. Streeter was a long time member of Lakeshore Baptist Church in Monroe, LA.

She was a member of the Eastern Star, Ladies Oriental Shrine, and Amarath, where
she held many offices in each including Grand High Priestess.

She and her husband, James (Jim) Streeter, owned Streeter Electric Service in
Monroe, LA from 1964 to 1992.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arlie Levi Rushing and Helen Rushing
Peardon; husband, James Edward (Jim) Streeter; brother, Alvie Rushing; sister,
Glenda Gant; and grandson, Chad Streeter.

Survivors include her children; Ed Streeter (Vera); Cheryl Hodge (Dickie); Steve
Streeter (Jaunita); Debra Streeter; and Sandra Mason (James); 11 grandchildren
and 19 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Phillip Streeter, Zach Streeter, Andrew
(Drew) Causey, Jay Hodge, Justin Streeter, Emmett Streeter, and Eric Mason.

Any planned memorials may be made to Lakeshore Baptist Church or any Shriners
Hospital for Children.
