FREDDIE STRINGFELLOW Funeral services for Mrs. Freddie Stringfellow, 63, of Magee, MS will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 13, 2014 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Pastor Shirley Davidson and Pastor Gene Amason will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Stringfellow was born December 7, 1950 in Monroe, LA and passed away November 10, 2014 in Hattiesburg, MS. She was a retired educator for over 25 years and retired from Simpson County School District and was the founder of Character Club. Mrs. Stringfellow was a member of Church Alive in Magee, MS, where she was a Sunday school teacher. Freddie was a loving mother and wife. She was a powerhouse and soul winner for God. She also loved gardening and fishing. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Gantt and a brother, Donald McKnight. Mrs. Stringfellow is survived by her husband, Carl Stringfellow; 2 children, Terry Lillie and Tiffany Tatum and husband Wes; 1 step-daughter, Sherie Abney; 2 step-grandchildren; Chandler Abney and Paris Abney; 1 sister, Robin Ellis and husband Buddy; 2 brothers, Dale McKnight and wife Peaches, Steven McKnight and wife Theresa; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dean Roy, Steve Roy, Jackie Curlee, Wes Tatum, Cliff Junkin, Chandler Abney. Visitation will be held Wednesday November 12, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
