MYRNA C. STRONG 

Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rayville, LA. 

Myrna C. Strong died in Little Rock, Arkansas on January 1, 2010 after a 
lengthy illness. She was born on March 25, 1937 in Richland Parish, Louisiana, 
to William Aubrey and Ethel Carpenter. She attended Holly Ridge High School, 
Holly Ridge, Louisiana, graduating in 1955 and going on to business college in 
Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She married the late W. L. Strong, Jr. in 1963. She 
worked as an executive assistant in several banks during her career before 
retiring from Richland State Bank in 1989. She is survived by her children, 
Edi Noonan Wood and Robb Strong; five grandchildren; her sister, Marie 
Wepking, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends 
will be held at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. to 
7:00 p.m. on Monday evening, January 4, 2010. Graveside services will be held 
at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Boeuf Prairie Methodist Church 
Cemetery, Fort Necessity, Louisiana, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral 
Home Rayville, LA. The family requests all memorials in her honor be made to 
that church (10473 Hwy. 562, Fort Necessity, Louisiana, 71243-5122).
