GUSSIE W. STRUMPELL

Funeral services for Mrs. Gussie W. Strumpell 89, of Monroe will be held at 
2:00 PM Saturday January 31, 2009 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Monroe. 
Rev. Dale Farley will officiate. Interment follows at Kilpatrick's Serenity 
Gardens 8729 Cypress Street West Monroe.

Mrs. Strumpell was born into the union of Raleigh Eugene and Mary Elveria 
Rashall Williams on April 17, 1919 in Coushatta, LA and died Thursday January 
22, 2009 in Monroe. Mrs. Strumpell was preceded in death by her parents, her 
son, Jack Huddleston and her husbands Henry Mason Strumpell, Otes Vernon Ates, 
Bob Huddleston and her three sisters, Johnnie Booty, Eva Elmore and Eleanor 
Goldberg.

Mrs. Strumpell is survived by her brother, I. J. Williams of Colorado; nephew 
Dewitt Booty of Natchitoches, LA; cousin, Jim Williams of West Monroe, LA; 
step-children, Susan G. Cotton, Kathryn A. Gonzales, John H. Strumpell and 
Mark H. Strumpell.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday January 30, 2009 at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home on 1200 Lamy Lane in Monroe.
