MRS. RUTH MURPHY SULLIVAN

Kilpatrick Funeral Home

West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Murphy Sullivan, 72, of West Monroe, LA will be 
held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 20, 2008 in the chapel of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Rev. Rylan Grimmer will officiate. Interment to 
follow New Chapel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Sullivan was born December 4, 1935 in Bienville Parish and passed away 
November 16, 2008 in Denham Springs, LA. She was retired from the West 
Ouachita Senior Center of the City of West Monroe and was a longtime employee 
of Bond's Bakery in Monroe. Mrs. Sullivan was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist 
Church in Denham Springs, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 
years, Daniel Lavell Sullivan and her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Clyde Murphy.

Mrs. Sullivan is survived by four daughters; Martha Jean and husband Delton 
Rice of Crossett, AR., Cynthia and husband Glenn Fuller of Denham Springs, LA, 
Sherie and husband Greg James of Pine Bluff, AR, Shelia and husband Kirk Saxon 
of Melissa, TX; brothers, Clifton and wife Glenda Murphy of West Monroe, LA 
and Johnny Murphy of Westwego, LA and sister, Martha Bell Sloan of West 
Monroe, LA and 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Knight, Michael Knight, Mark Walle, Wade Saxon, 
William Guyton and Rusty Lavender.

Visitation will be held Wednesday November 19, 2008 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 
P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
