Monday, December 1, 2008, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will be in McKnight Cemetery. Ms. Summerhill passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was a dispatcher for American Medical Response, and a member of North Monroe Baptist Church. Danielle was a very loving mother to Mary-Ellen, who was the light of her life. She was a very loving daughter. She will be greatly missed by her family and co-workers at AMR. In her pre-teen and teen years, she was an All-Star softball pitcher for several years. Mrs. Summerhill was preceded in death by her father, Billy Raymond Nubles; infant daughter, Victoria Myers; grandparents, D. H. and Raye Skinner, and Gene and Maude Nubles; and brother-in-law, Jack Thomas. Survivors include her daughter, Mary-Ellen Denise Summerhill; mother, Jerry Nubles Smith and step father, Richard Smith; brothers, Billy and Raymond Nubles; sister, Denaira Nubles; companion, Brinkley Thomas; nephew, B. J. Nubles; nieces, Katie Nubles and Bailey Whitaker; step brothers, Rick Smith and wife Karin, and Jason Smith; step sister, Lisa Keuhn; and godmother, Denise Franklin. Pallbearers will be Jack Avery, Joel Plummer, Daniel Haynes, Scott Johnson, Mark Parker, Randy Sikes, and B. J. Nubles. Honorary pallbearers will be Zach Franklin and Seth Franklin. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
