Born in Epps, Louisiana, on May 24, 1933 Departed Oct. 13, 2008.

Funeral service for Dorothy Elizabeth Sumrall of Monroe, LA, formerly of Lake 
Providence, LA., will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Cox Funeral 
Home Chapel, Lake Providence, LA., with Rev. Larry Stafford officiating. 
Burial will follow in the New Forest Cemetery, Forest, LA., under direction of 
Cox Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon till time of service Wednesday, Oct 15, 2008 at 
Cox Funeral Home, Lake Providence, LA.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl A. "Mike" Sumrall Sr., son, Carl 
A. "Butch" Sumrall Jr., parents, John and Katie Lee Sullivan; and two 
brothers, Charles Emmitt Sullivan and John L. Sullivan.

Survivors include a son, Kevin Sumrall and his wife Leah of Monroe, LA., 
daughter, Michael Anne Rosenberg and her husband, Alan of Lakeland, TN., 
daughter-in-law, Joan Sumrall of Forest, LA., grandson, John Sitton of Monroe, 
LA., grandson, Chris Sitton of Shreveport, LA., grandson, Blake Rosenberg of 
Lakeland, TN., grandson, Wade Sumrall of Oak Grove, LA., grandson, Adam 
Sumrall of Oak Grove, LA; granddaughter, Kristi Hobbs of West Monroe, LA., 
granddaughter, Stephanie Smith of Monroe, LA., granddaughter, Katie Sumrall of 
Forest, LA., grandson, Davis Sumrall of Forest, LA; granddaughter, Gabby 
Sumrall of Monroe, LA., grandson, Kevin Rosenberg of Birmingham, AL., 
granddaughter, Valerie Rosenberg of Pensacola, FL., grandson, Chris Rosenberg 
of Southhaven, MS., grandson, Brent Rosenberg of West Monroe, LA., father-in-
law, Woodrow Deal of Lake Providence, LA and 12 great g randchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Sitton, Chris Sitton, Blake Rosenberg, Adam Sumrall, 
Wade Sumrall, and James Jackson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Clement and Jeff Sullivan.
