MARY M. SYKES

Funeral services for Mary M. Sykes, 84, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 
PM, Saturday, May 23, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West 
Monroe, LA with Pastor Fred Foster and Pastor Jason Ramsey. Interment will 
follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West 
Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Sykes was born March 20, 1931 in Brookhaven, MS and passed away May 21, 
2015 in Monroe. She was a homemaker and a member of Pentecostals of the Twin 
Cities. Mrs. Sykes was preceded in death by her husband, T. J. Sykes and a 
daughter, Pamela Lambert.

Mrs. Sykes is survived by her daughters; Debra McKee and husband Michael and 
Sherry Edwards and husband Alvin; sons, Jerry Sykes and wife Lisa, Larry Sykes 
and wife Carolyn and Billy Sykes; brothers, Morris Givens and Lewis Givens; 
sister, Mattie Hayes; 16 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 9 great-
great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Jr., Larry Jr., Lance, Tim and T. J. Sykes and Mike 
Givens.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike McKee, Jesse Waddell and Davie Edwards.
