Funeral services for Mrs. Joye T. Talbert, 90, of Monroe, LA will be at 11 AM, 
Tuesday, December 19, 2006, in Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel, Sterlington Road, 
Monroe with Rev. Jack Phelps officiating. Graveside services will be 3 PM, at 
Old Town Cemetery in Haynesville, LA. Mrs. Talbert was born November 20, 1916 
in Goldonna, LA and passed away on December 16, 2006 in Monroe, LA. She was a 
resident of Haynesville, LA, for many years and a resident of Monroe, LA for 6 
years. She was co-owner of Talbert's Department Store in Haynesville, LA. She 
attended Highland Park Baptist Church in Monroe and was a lifelong member of 
First Baptist in Haynesville. She is preceded in death by her husband, James 
R. Talbert and son, James Terral Talbert. She is survived by her daughter, 
Kitty Talbert Odom and husband Eric of Shreveport, LA; son, Rick Talbert of 
Monroe, LA; sisters, Avis Whitaker and Bonnie Bensberg; brother, Bill Terral; 
grandchildren, Ashley Warren Turner, M. Taylor Warren II, and Trevor Talbert; 
four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 
5:00PM until 7:00PM, Monday, December 18, 2006, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Sterlington Road, Monroe
