Rev. John Tellifero will be officiating. Jeanette was born August 29, 1964 in San Diego, California and passed away August 7, 2016 in West Monroe. Nette as she was called, found her enjoyment working in her garden raising the vegetables and herbs she canned and preserved using self taught skills gained through the years. Raising a small flock of chickens she was often called Crazy Chickenlady by family and friends alike, supplying everyone with her free range organic eggs. Nette possessed a love for dogs since childhood and enjoyed her life with Jax, Stella, and Zorro. An outdoors woman, Nette enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, and target shooting. In the spring of this year, Nette caught and released her biggest bass, 10.5 pounds, that she was very proud of, caught on perch hook. Always with an opinion and always sought for consul, Nette was counted on to give truthful advice, and she was loved for it. Known for her culinary skills, she was often sought out by friends and family for recipes and tips, and her contributions to Holiday meals are legendary. Nette loved and lived life to its fullest, loved her family unconditionally, and was loved in return. She leaves a giant hole in many lives, and the world a lesser place. Jeanette is survived by her husband, Ken Tanguis; 5 children; Benjamin LeBLanc and fiancé Victoria Lovell, Brett LeBlanc, Amanda Johnson and husband Michael, Felicia Siwady and husband Josey and Kenneth Tanguis II; 5 grandchildren; Tyler Cassalata, Kevin Cassalata, Sarah Cassalata, Aria Siwady and Jules Siwady; mother, Susan Bowen and husband Robert; sister, Heather Heaney and husband Joel; nieces Joelie and Lillie Heaney and her brother, Robert Bowen; Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society .
