JAMES RAY 'BO-RAY' TARVER
Lexington, KY

James Ray 'Bo-Ray' Tarver, 68, died Sunday, April 26, 2009 at his home in 
Lexington, KY after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be at Lamar Baptist 
Church on Saturday, May 2, 2009 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM with a Memorial 
Service to follow, officiated by Bro. Jason Lupo. Mr. Tarver retired from the 
Air Force after 24 years of service which included recruiting in the Monroe 
area. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Jewel Tarver and one 
brother, Jerry Tarver.

He is survived by one son, Kenneth Tarver and wife Nancy of Murfreesboro, TN; 
two daughters, Debbie McJunkins of Norman, OK and Carol Hendry and husband 
Dewayne of Winnsboro, LA; two brothers, Charles Tarver and Frank Tarver; one 
sister, Betty Stinson; the mother of his children, Diane Tarver; fiancée, Mary 
Allender; grandchildren, Chris Tarver and wife Kim, Chase Tarver, Katie 
Tarver, Kylie Tarver, Matthew Hendry, Kristin Hendry, and Hannah Hendry.
