MARGARET ANN TATUM


Margaret Ann Tatum, 81, of Rison, AR. died Monday, April 22, 2013, at Green 
House Cottages at Southern Hills. Born at Shreveport, Louisiana, on March 15, 
1932, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret Carmical Tatum.

Miss Tatum graduated from Monroe (Louisiana) High School and received her 
degree from Louisiana Tech University. She later received her Master's degree 
from Peabody College in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a retired teacher, 
having taught in the Nashville Public Schools for 40 years. She was a Baptist 
and had been a resident of the nursing home in Rison for the last four years.

Her only immediate survivor is a cousin, Ruth Wynn Carmical Sadler, of Rison, 
AR.

Graveside services are scheduled Friday, April 26, at 11:00 a.m. at Mulhearn 
Memorial Park in Monroe, Louisiana, with Brother Craig West officiating. Buie 
Funeral Home of Rison, AR. (870) 325-6216 is in charge of arrangements. Sign
