BENA PLUNKETT TAYLOR

Monroe, LA

Memorial Services for Mrs. Bena Bell Plunkett Taylor, 67, of West Monroe, LA
will be held at 5:00 P.M. Friday, July 18, 2008 at the Calvary Baptist Church,
1155 Hwy 594 Monroe, LA .

Bena passed away on July 15, 2008 at the St. Francis North Medical Center after
a hard fought battle with cancer. She was a hairdresser for many years as well
as a waitress and store clerk. The thing she enjoyed most was spending time with
family and friends. She was always loving and loyal to all.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Taylor; parents, Moses and
Lillie Plunkett; brother, Eugene Plunkett; sisters, Billie Plunkett, Mozelle
Smith, Mary Howard and Opal Williams.

Survivors include one son, Douglas Taylor Jr. and wife Myna; two daughters,
Bille Lee and husband Warren and Peggy Cascio and husband James Jr.; five
grandchildren, Heather Taylor, Ashley Lee, Doug Lee, James Edgar Pailette and
Kim Wiggins; five great grandchildren, Maura, Riley, Angel, Kaylee and James;
brother, Clayton Plunkett and wife Betty; sister, Helen Froust and husband
Arvis, all of West Monroe; one sister, Lola Mae Tripp of Texarkana, AR; numerous
nieces and nephews; and special friend Michael Cox of Oak Grove.

The family would like to invite family and friends to join with us in a
celebration of her life and journey to be with her heavenly Father following the
memorial service at the same location. Remembrances in the way of flowers can be
delivered to Calvary Baptist Church at 1155 Hwy 594 Monroe, LA.

Memorials may also be made to the American Cancer Society.
