PAULINE BEARDEN TAYLOR Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Bearden Taylor, 98 of Downsville, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Holmesville Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry Whitman will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Taylor was born August 26, 1910 in Downsville, LA and went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 12, 2008 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Holmesville Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband James Sherwood Taylor on April 4, 2000, a son Garvis Taylor and a sister Aline Baker. Mrs. Taylor is survived by daughters Jean Stancil Smith and Sue Istre both of West Monroe; 7 grandchildren; Billie Jean Stancil Christy and husband, J.C., Jimmy Mack Stancil and wife Mollie, Suzette Taylor Rowell and husband Johnny, Buddy Taylor and wife Betty, Mark Taylor and wife Trish, Teresa Taylor Cove and husband Scott, Jamie Taylor and wife Stephanie; brother, Elhanon Bearden, sister, Dorothy Brantley, brother, Garland Bearden, sister, Eula Mae Smith, sister, Genell Meacham, and sister-in-law Reita Cockrell; 9 great- grandchildren, 8 great- great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great- grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Mack Stancil Sr., Jimmy Mack Stancil Jr., Ronnie Stancil, Buddy Taylor, Jamie Taylor, Mark Taylor, Johnny Rowell and Scott Cove. Visitation will be Friday, November 14, 2008 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Farmerville, LA.
