Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Mrs. Taylor, a homemaker, went to her heavenly home January 9, 2015. She was a very active member of Aulds Chapel Church in Downsville for 50 years. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, sewing and was an avid reader. GiGi was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and was a very Godly influence on her family and others she encountered. Preceding her in death were her parents: Robert & Madeline Bailey and her husband of 61 years, John C. Taylor. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Dale Taylor & wife, Gayle of Downsville; daughter, Carolyn Taylor Bell & husband, Thomas of Demopolis, AL; 2 sisters: Betty LaBonte of Houston, TX and Peggy Myrick of Hunstville, AL; 4 grandchildren: Bryan Taylor & wife, Susan, Shannon Devalier & husband, Kelly, Tracy Bell Bond & husband, Wade and Cristy Cherry & husband, Ben; 10 great grandchildren: Dillon Vadalier, Devin Vadalier, Dustin Vadalier, Daniel Taylor, Dakota Taylor, Bailey Taylor, Haileigh Nolan, Benjamin Cherry, Ella Cherry, and Livi Cherry; numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be the men of Aulds Chapel Church. Visitation is 2:00-5:00pm Sunday at Farrar Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Aulds Chapel Church for Camp Pearl Church Camp or to Jerry Morris with Extreme Missionary Adventures at P.O. Box 732, Farmerville, LA 71241.
