THEOLA JOYCE TAYLOR

Graveside service for Theola Joyce Taylor will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 
14, 2015 at Meridian Cemetery in Marion, LA with Bro. David Willoughby 
officiating. There will be a procession leaving from Kilpatrick Funeral Home at 
10:00 AM on Tuesday going to the cemetery. Services are under the direction of 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.

Mrs. Taylor was born on June 30, 1932 in Strong, AR and passed away on April 9, 
2015 in Shreveport, LA. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist 
Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, SFC Marion Taylor, USA 
(Ret.), her parents, John P. Nelson and Clara Nelson, two brothers, Roy and 
Patrick Nelson and a daughter, Tina Taylor.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Heikkila and her husband, Alex; 3 
grandchildren, Maddie and Loralie Heikkila and Josh Shannon; 2 sisters, Patsy 
Snell and Diane Herndon; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, April 13, 2015 at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
