Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Rd. Monroe, LA. Mrs. Taylor passed on Sunday, June 26, 2016. She was a charter member of North Monroe Baptist Church, attended faithfully and brought up her family there. She was a longtime member of the BYKOTA Life Group and loved the ladies in her class. She was a wonderful cook and loved sharing food and recipes with family and friends. She had an outgoing personality and enjoyed visiting with others, but her true talent was in writing. Her lovely notes were handwritten in a beautiful script. Recipients said they were thoughtfully written and were encouraging and supportive. She also loved travel and spent many happy days traveling in their RV. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mattie Daniel; her son, Mark W. Taylor; and her sister, Grace Parrino. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Fulton G. "Jack" Taylor; children, Clay Taylor, wife Janice, Rhonda Konkle, husband Johnny, Jackie Perkins, husband Gary, Margo Pendarvis, husband Raymond; daughter-in-law, Mary Taylor; grandchildren, Katie, Jessica, Jack, Kerrigan, Brooke, Cameron, Tammy, and Tisha; and two great grandchildren, Addison and Bodhi. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA. Memorials may be made to North Monroe Baptist Church Building Fund.
