CLEO REEVES TAYLOR


Marion - Cleo Reeves Taylor, 94, of Marion, LA passed away on September 11, 
2017 after a lengthy illness. Services for Cleo will be held on Thursday, 
September 14, 2017 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Farmerville, LA. Visitation 
will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 
2:00 pm. Bro. Cullen Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Liberty 
Taylor Cemetery in Farmerville, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Aylmer Gray; parents Oliver and 
Myrtle Reeves; son, Larry Gray, his wife Ilene, their daughter Melissa; and 
2 brothers, Ira and Bobby Reeves.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Tettleton (Jerry) of Farmerville, 
LA, Marilyn Tipton (Jim) of Madison, MS and Teresa Henry (Tom) of Vicksburg, 
MS; her grandchildren: Penny Barry, Stan Tettleton, Jennifer Tettleton, 
Justin Henry (Bonnie), and Jordan Henry, 5 great grandchildren, numerous 
nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Church of Christ in 
Marion, LA, where Cleo was a lifelong member.

The family would like to express special thanks for the compassionate care 
of First Choice Hospice and the management and staff of Arbor Rose Assisted 
Living, of Farmerville, LA. Special gratitude to those who cared for Ms. 
Cleo in her final days- Kathy Antley, Shamone Gales, Keshia Scott, Rosalind 
Wines, Jean Matheson and June Lovett.

Her son in laws and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
