Dan McClure and Rev. Phillip Holloway officiating. Interment will follow in Start Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA. Known by many as Sister Temple, passed away May 2, 2009 at the Rayville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after suffering a stroke. She was a long time pastor at Full Gospel Fellowship Church at Bee Bayou, LA. A native of Yazoo City, MS., She moved to LA after marrying her husband of 33 years. She assisted him in the ministry of pastoring, missionary, church planting and evangelism. She was a mother to eight boys and one girl. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Mabel Cobb; husband, J.W. Temple; and two sons, Keith and Gary Temple. Surviving sons are Larry, Byron, Roger, Irvin, Terry, and James all of Rayville. Daughter, Marilyn Walker of Atascocita, TX; son-in-law, Ronnie Walker; two daughters-in-law, Jane and Lindy Temple; seven grandsons, three granddaughters, two great grandsons, and five great granddaughters. She had a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was very loved and will be missed by all. Pallbearers are sons, Larry Temple, Byron Temple, Roger Temple, Irvin Temple, Terry Temple, and James Temple. Honorary Pallbearers are grandsons, Christopher, Brian, Jeremy, Gary, J.C., Robert, and Ron, Jr. Visitation will be all day Wednesday until the service at 2:00 PM at the church.
